mixx is a custom music app designed for easy listening and creating. The UI/UX design contains a unique flow that makes this music app stand out from others. In addition to extensive music content, mixx allows you to be your own personal DJ with its Remixxer feature. With thousands of pre-made categorized playlists and custom playlists made specific to your music taste, it is impossible to fall behind on today's top trends and artists.

BASIC FLOW
The objective of mixx is to provide a simple approach to listening to music, as well as to explore your creative side with the Remixxer. mixx also contains a social, interactive aspect with the community feature, allowing you to browse other users playlists and mixxes.
LOW FIDELITY WIREFRAME
After collecting data through interviews with regular Spotify and Apple Music users, I began constructing my wireframe. I wanted to address the concerns my test users had when using competitor apps, which was primarily lack of pre-made playlists and genre organization. To combat this issue, not only are there thousands of pre-made general and user specific playlists provided by mixx, but all artists, playlists, and songs are categorized by genre and decade.

HIGH FIDELITY PROTOTYPE
Once my grayscale wireframe was complete and tested by my users, it was safe to start prototyping, and implementing colors and components.
